About Van Neynsel

Van Neynsel is a care organization with six residential locations in ’s-Hertogenbosch and Vught. When independent living is no longer possible, Van Neynsel offers a warm and trusted home, with professional care and space for the important role of family and loved ones. That’s why they’ve partnered with 2DAYSMOOD to continuously measure and improve employee happiness. This proactive approach has already led to visible improvements – and even participation in the Excellent Workplace Certification.

The challenge

Van Neynsel previously conducted traditional employee satisfaction surveys about once every two years. However, the long gap between collecting feedback and implementing improvements limited the impact. The organization was looking for a more dynamic, ongoing approach to monitor and enhance employee happiness in real time.

With the implementation of 2DAYSMOOD, Van Neynsel has developed a structured approach to continuously monitor and improve employee happiness:

  • Continuous mood measurements provide real-time insights into how employees are feeling.

  • Annual baseline surveys and quarterly eNPS (Employee Net Promoter Score) check-ins help identify trends and areas for attention.

  • Topic-specific surveys – for example, on workload or appreciation – offer in-depth understanding of key themes.

This approach has led to tangible improvements:

  • Stable and positive results: Employee turnover has decreased, and satisfaction scores remain consistently strong.
  • Introduction of team leaders: Based on feedback highlighting the need for team structure and recognition, Van Neynsel introduced team leaders to strengthen collaboration and support.

  • Improved student guidance: Thanks to direct feedback and quick actions, guidance for students on-site has been significantly enhanced.

Additionally, conversations around social themes such as workload, recognition, scheduling, and collaboration have become part of the daily culture. This has led to regular small improvements that truly make a difference.
