Our academic Employee Happiness model offers a holistic framework of 15 drivers that impact employee engagement and happiness at work.

Why the Employee Happiness Model?

Engaged and happy employees are the golden formula for business success. But for every employee this formula has different rules. 2DAYSMOOD has investigated which universal factors contribute to employee engagement and happiness.

Based on this research, conducted with Utrecht University, and extensive literature studies, we have identified 15 drivers of employee engagement. They are embedded in the 2DAYSMOOD Employee Happiness Model (EHM) and our unique measuring method of employee happiness.

How can you apply the model?

The 15 drivers in the Employee Happiness Model can be seen as key measuring variables. They can have a negative or positive impact on the engagement and happiness of your employees. You can start by reviewing the status of these themes in your own organization or team.
