Factors of Engagement: 4. Reputation & Brand

Reputation and Brand are determining factors of employee engagement and job satisfaction. Reputation determines the impression that internal and external stakeholders have of an organization. This impression is based on the behavior of the organization from the past and in the future. Through its brand, an organization can paint a positive picture associated with trust, quality, and customer satisfaction.

They are one of the 15 drivers in the scientific Employee Happiness Model®.

Improve employee engagement through drivers

It is important to gain insight into what makes your employees enthusiastic, happy and productive. What are their motives? You can find this out by scanning the 15 factors of engagement. But you can’t do everything at once. So first focus on the theme where you think the most impact can be achieved, simply or quickly!

Employee Happiness Model > theme organization > reputation and brand

Reputation & Brand, together with Internal Communication, Vision & Core Values, and Strategy & Goals form the theme ‘Organization’ in the Employee Happiness Model and the measuring method of 2DAYSMOOD.

This theme is about the core of the organization and how the company uses the same clear communication message and style for all internal and external stakeholders. This message must be coherent, credible and represent the values of the company. By finding out how employees think about the four drivers in this theme, you will discover to what extent they feel connected and identify with the organization (and how you can improve this).

The EHM consists of four themes: Organization, People, Work and Wellbeing. Curious about the other themes and drivers? Download the whitepaper
