Factors of Engagement: 11. Learning & Development

Learning and development are determining factors for employee engagement and job satisfaction. Not only do these themes contribute to employees’ sense of purpose, they also help organizations internally create talent. Strategies can be successfully implemented through the right level of training and development. This concerns all initiatives that inspire employees to grow in their role and in the organization.

They are one of the 15 drivers in the scientific Employee Happiness Model®.

This may concern intrinsic factors (e.g. appreciation) and extrinsic factors (e.g. monetary).
